David Larson With over 25 years of practical experience in Composing, Arranging, Live Performance and Direct Studio experience David provides a wide variety of musical styles and skills to Living Sound Studio. His work has appeared in commercials and on numerous artist CD projects as well. David has been part of more than 10 seasons with the Des Moines Playhouse and Stoner Music Theater. In addition to considerable playing skills David has a B.A. in Music Theory and Composition, as well a degree in Piano Tuning and Rebuilding. He has been tuning, rebuilding and servicing fine instruments in the central Iowa area for over 15 years. David also serves as the office manager, client contact person, project manager and all around ‘go to’ guy. If it needs to be done David finds the best person for the job and makes sure that everyone’s happy at the end of the day. Outside the office or recording studio you may find David performing with any number of well known local performers in venues that range from Live Worship leading, Jazz combos and Dixieland bands all the way to small, intimate coffee house settings and beyond.
